These unique pieces were made in the Sablon area of Brussels, using an expensive process including the application of swirling patterned veneer and a high gloss Chinese lacquer finish using a complex, detailed traditional process. The gauge piece is an original aluminium surround and the door inserts are wood with integrated mounting fixings, These were added to a car in the 1980s in Europe.
